CHOO-CHOO! All aboard the Mythic Assassin train cuz we've got a 9th stop now! Yes, the 9th Mythic Assassin, and that's still somehow less than the 10 Mythic Controllers we currently have! Anyway, Starr "Stella" Nova! I didn't think I'd find a brawler more hatable in terms of personality than Moe, but I also didn't think you can get Buffies out of Nova drops so what do I know? Like seriously she was INSUFFERABLE in the two animations of her we got, poor Kit in the second one.Wait, about that "what do I know", I know what I know, it's that unlike Najia and Damian right before her, Starr Nova isn't gamebreaking! She also isn't balanced at all! So let's talk about it.Starr Nova's main attack is her firing two pretty long range projectiles thanks to... her hair. Using her hair to attack. So we can add Shantae plagiarism onto the list of sins, but anyway, this main attack has good damage, great range, and an okay reload speed, so despite it being not as deadly up close as some other assassins, that's offset by her having way more range to work with. And that weakness also goes out the window once she gets her honestly-pretty-easy-to-charge super, where she transforms into the one and only Starr Nova (I felt like dying writing this specific line down myself, it reminded me of her trailer), and dashes at her foes to attack them with her sword, where she gains an attack with a much faster reload speed and 2K damage per slice which as you can guess gives her absolutely crazy twamwipe potential. Now, for the unlockables so far!Part 1: Gadgets.This was a tough choice, but on average, I've decided that Shining Starr of Friendship and Justice, despite its horrendously long name, is the better gadget by just barely, but both are really good. If you put Floaty Time behind a wall against enemies who can't hit through them or break them or throw something over them, you'll be able to place them in absolutely malicious spots gonna laugh as they give up on you and try to target your teammates. Enemies with the means to destroy it however are likely to not take you seriously snd they'll just gang up on you. For her second gadgets, hey Gigi is already the teleport Mythic Assassin, why again? Starr Nova's slow moving projectile is actually good for plenty of reasons, it allows her to take control of an entire section of the map for a bit even if its damage is nonexistent, and it gives teammates some extra healing.Part 2: Starr Powers.This was, way, WAY easier than the gadgets when it came to my decision honestly, Power Level: Maximum is just absolutely insane, buffing damage with each attack hit by 5% upto 30%? How much you wanna bet that this SP will eventually get nerfed to 20% only after a while? Her other SP is genuinely so useless, especially when the other one makes your already insane super even better and stronger. Part 3: Gears.Another assassin, another Damage + Shield combo yet again, literally nothing new to add.Part 4: Hypercharge.Her Hyper isn't out yet as of writing this guide, but it WAS leaked! I'm not gonna say what it is but all I'm saying is, brace for absolute f(drill)ing impact .
